Welcome to Rugby Divers

Whether you are new to diving and are looking for somewhere to start your training, an experienced diver looking to develop your skills or simply you are looking for a group of like minded people to dive and train with throughout the year, then we are the club for you!

We meet most Tuesday evenings at the Queens Diamond Jubilee Sports Centre in Rugby where we conduct theory and pool training, open swimming and skills sessions and meet for a social get together.

Regular club dives are conducted at nearby inland dive site Stoney Cove  along with trips to the UK coast and overseas destinations. Some of the trips we have recently organised include Plymouth, The Farne Islands, Swanage, Egypt, Mexico, Cyprus, Turkey and many more !

We own our own dive boat (RHIB) and have plenty of kit that can be used during training and rented for open water diving thereafter.

We hold regular Try Dives throughout the year, so if you have always wanted to learn; would like to have a taster before you go on holiday or simply want to try something new, then a Try Dive with Rugby Divers is for you!

For information on any of our upcoming events, training schedules or perhaps becoming a member, please check out and like ‘Rugby Divers’ on Facebook or get in touch with us via our CONTACT page.

What our members say...

I had a try dive lesson on 14-06-2022 and it was absolutely amazing! Carl was very informative, very friendly and let me go at a pace I was happy with. I learned a lot in just the first lesson and will definitely be trying it again! All the people at the club were incredibly friendly and helpful and made me feel so welcome. I hope to join the club and have many adventures in the future with everyone! Thank you to everyone and especially thanks to Carl for my lesson!

Really friendly club. My son and I did a try dive we were welcomed with open arms, felt very looked after and really enjoyed it. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Would recommend.

Joined this club a few years ago and as a club these guys are the best in the area. Always helpful and happy to share knowledge and time for new divers and old alike. Training is second to none. All their kit is new. Highly recommend this club if your looking to either train as a new diver or cross over from other clubs/organizations to BSAC.

I met up with the club as a diver with 25 years experience and a high level of qualifications. I moved to the area from the South East and was enthusiastically and warmly welcomed into the club. Within 10 days I had joined 12 other members on a weeks diving in Cyprus. The holiday was great and I got to know the members really well and felt quite at home.

Having joined the club as a PADI trained diver, I was unsure if I could further my diving career with BSAC. I enquired with Rugby Divers and was relieved to find out that after having carried out a simple 'cross-over' course, I was able to join and carry on with my training. The club have some fantastic instructors who are only too happy to share their knowledge and expertise. I have learnt so much since joining the club - developing my skills as a Rescue Diver and more recently becoming an Assistant Open Water and Theory Instructor.

Carl Adam-Watts

I was looking for a scuba diving club to join and continue my training to the next level and came across the club through Google Search and was welcomed by all members. It is a friendly club with some great experience in their ranks. Training undertaken in the pool at Rugby Leisure Centre and Stoney Cove with numerous trips organised through the year both UK and overseas.
